08. What is not included in a safari?

International flights, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, alcoholic drinks, tips, and optional activities are usually excluded unless specified.

09. How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially if your itinerary includes gorilla trekking during the peak travel seasons.

10. Can you arrange airport transfers?

Yes. We provide airport pick-up and drop-off services for all our guests.

11. Which airports do you use?

Yes. Gorilla trekking is considered very safe when conducted with licensed guides and park rangers while following park regulations.

15. How difficult is gorilla trekking?

The difficulty varies depending on the gorilla family's location. Treks may last from one to several hours over uneven terrain.

16. What is the minimum age for gorilla trekking?

The minimum age is generally 15 years in both Uganda and Rwanda.

17. How many people visit a gorilla family?

Only eight visitors are allowed to visit a habituated gorilla family each day, helping protect the animals and enhance the visitor experience.

18. How long can I spend with the gorillas?

Visitors are allowed one hour with the gorillas after locating the family.

19. Do I need to be physically fit?

A moderate level of fitness is recommended for trekking activities, although many other safari experiences require very little physical effort.
