Your 2-Day Budget Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel, residence or Entebbe International Airport. After meeting your professional safari guide, you will travel northwards towards Murchison Falls National Park.
The drive passes through Uganda's countryside, with opportunities to see local communities, farms, roadside markets and changing landscapes along the way. Depending on your departure time and route, you may stop for breakfast or lunch before continuing towards the national park.
After entering the park, the landscape changes into open savannah, woodland and grassland. You may begin seeing Uganda kob, warthogs, hartebeest, giraffes and other wildlife as you approach your accommodation. After check-in, you will have time to relax before an optional afternoon activity.
If your arrival time allows, you can enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park. The game drive provides an opportunity to search for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes and other wildlife. Predators such as lions and leopards also occur in Murchison Falls National Park, although wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. You will later return to your budget lodge or guesthouse for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive. The early morning is particularly useful for wildlife viewing because animals are often active before the temperatures become hotter. Your guide will drive along the park's wildlife tracks while searching for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeest, warthogs and other animals. With luck, you may also encounter lions or other predators.
After the game drive, continue towards the dramatic Murchison Falls area. Here, the Victoria Nile is forced through a narrow gorge before plunging downstream, creating one of the most famous natural attractions in Uganda. You will have time to enjoy the viewpoint, take photographs and appreciate the surrounding landscape.
After visiting Murchison Falls, begin the journey back towards Kampala or Entebbe. Lunch can be arranged along the way depending on your itinerary.
