Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Papyrus Guest House

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing about your upcoming adventure, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax after your flight.

Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or simply unwind at your accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP Buffalo Safari Lodge

After an early breakfast, depart Entebbe and travel west through Uganda's beautiful countryside. Enjoy views of tea plantations, local villages, rolling hills, and the famous Equator crossing where you'll stop for photographs.

Continue towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening with chances of spotting wildlife before checking into your lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive & Kazinga Boat Safari Buffalo Safari Lodge

Rise early for an exciting morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, one of Uganda's best wildlife viewing areas. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, warthogs, hyenas, and, with luck, lions and leopards.

After lunch, enjoy a spectacular boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, home to one of Africa's largest concentrations of hippos. You'll also see crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and countless bird species gathering along the shoreline.

Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 4: Ishasha – Transfer to Bwindi Bakiga Lodge

After breakfast, travel through the southern Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready as your guide searches for these unique predators resting in giant fig trees.

Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through beautiful mountain scenery and rural communities before arriving at your lodge.

Spend the evening preparing for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience Bakiga Lodge

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.

Once found, you'll spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat — a truly life-changing wildlife encounter.

Your gorilla trek begins through the dense rainforest as you search for one of Bwindi's habituated mountain gorilla families. The trek may last between 2 and 6 hours depending on the gorillas' location.

After descending from the forest, receive your gorilla trekking certificate before returning to the lodge to relax.

Day 6: Golden Monkey Trekking Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge

Following breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Upon arrival, receive a briefing before beginning your golden monkey trekking adventure.

These rare and energetic primates are known for their striking golden-orange fur and playful behavior. Watching them leap effortlessly through the bamboo forest offers a completely different experience from gorilla trekking.

After the trek, return to your lodge and enjoy stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes.

Day 7: Return to Entebbe – Departure

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe, enjoying scenic views of southwestern Uganda one final time. Stop for lunch en route and visit the Equator for souvenirs and memorable photographs before continuing to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.

This marks the end of your unforgettable Ugandan safari adventure.
