Day 1Your journey begins with a scenic flight from Entebbe over the lush, terraced hills of southwestern Uganda. Upon landing at Kihihi Airstrip, your private professional guide will meet you and transfer you through local communities and the surrounding landscapes to Bwindi.
You check into Engagi Safari Lodge, an eco-luxury property constructed from local materials and offering views of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The lodge combines rustic character with comfortable accommodation and provides a peaceful base close to the gorilla trekking area.

Day 2After an early breakfast, take a short drive to the park headquarters. Following a briefing, you enter the rainforest to track a habituated mountain gorilla family.
