Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Entebbe for a scenic 6-7 hour drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, you’ll pass through the lush countryside, vibrant markets, and rolling tea plantations, offering a glimpse into Uganda’s rich landscapes and culture.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and enjoy a hearty lunch before relaxing or taking a nature walk in the surrounding area. Kibale Forest is home to 13 primate species, including the famous chimpanzees, as well as over 335 bird species and a variety of other wildlife.
Accommodation Options:
Wake up to the sounds of the forest and enjoy an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will venture into the dense forest in search of these intelligent primates. The trek can take between 2-4 hours, depending on the movement of the chimpanzees.
Once you find them, you’ll spend an unforgettable hour observing their playful interactions, feeding habits, and social behaviors. Afterward, return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch and a relaxing afternoon. You can choose to explore the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its rich birdlife and primates, or unwind at your lodge.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic 2-3 hour drive to Semuliki National Park, a hidden gem known for its tropical rainforests and unique geothermal features. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out to visit the famous Sempaya Hot Springs. These bubbling, boiling springs are a natural wonder, where local myths and legends add to their mystique. You can witness eggs being boiled in the hot waters within minutes and marvel at the steam rising from the ground.
In the evening, relax at your lodge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this remote park.

Start your day with a cultural experience, visiting a nearby community to learn about the traditions and way of life of the local people. Engage with artisans, taste traditional foods, and listen to stories from village elders before setting off for Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The drive takes about 3-4 hours, but you’ll have an exciting game drive en route, spotting wildlife such as elephants, antelopes, and buffaloes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and unwind as you prepare for the next day's adventure.

Today is all about wildlife! Rise early for a morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains, a hotspot for predators such as lions and leopards. You’ll also see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. The early morning hours provide the best chances to witness big cats hunting.
Return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for another game drive in the evening. As the sun sets, watch the golden hues light up the savannah while animals prepare for the night.
Start your morning with an exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a 32-kilometer waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This boat safari offers incredible wildlife sightings, including large pods of hippos, crocodiles sunbathing along the shores, and an impressive variety of bird species such as African fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers.
After the cruise, have lunch at your lodge before beginning the journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive, making a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping before arriving in Entebbe for an overnight stay.
